Kenyon and Nine Partners are Recognized Among the World's Leading Patent Practioners by IAM 1000

New York, June 21, 2012 - Kenyon & Kenyon LLP is pleased to announce that the firm as well as partners George Badenoch, Patrick Birde, Richard DeLucia, John Flock, Steven Lee, Michael Lennon, Deborah Somerville, Marcia Sundeen and Charles Weiss were named in the inaugural edition of Intellectual Asset Management magazine’s IAM 1000: The World’s Leading Patent Practitioners. IAM’s new guide combines the top patent prosecution, licensing, and litigation practitioners from over 30 jurisdictions and 14 US States. The firm and its partners have been recognized in previous years by IAM Licensing 250 and IAM Patent Litigation 250 as the top practitioners in the world.

In order to find the individuals and firms recognized, IAM undertook an extensive five-month research process. A team of experienced researchers spoke with hundreds of attorneys, patent attorneys and in-house counsel to identify the world’s leading patent practitioners. Only those practitioners generating a high degree of positive feedback, as well as a demonstrable record of top-drawer work and a healthy degree of specialization in licensing (relative to their own market), made the cut.
