Agnes Xu is a patent agent in Kenyon's New York office. Her practice focuses on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications (domestic and foreign), concentrating primarily in the areas of biotechnology, chemical and pharmaceutical sciences.
Dr. Xu received her bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, where she conducted undergraduate research in the areas of coordination chemistry and biochemistry. Dr. Xu obtained her Ph.D. degree in Inorganic Chemistry from Wesleyan University with a thesis entitled “Thermodynamics and Kinetics of Halogen Atom Transfer Reactions of Ruthenoceniums and Osmoceniums.” Her graduate research interest was in medicinal inorganic and physical inorganic chemistry, with an emphasis on the fundamental aspects of coupled group/multielectron transfer reactions in solution.
Dr. Xu is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
