Ajita Shukla, based in the New York office, first joined Kenyon & Kenyon as a summer associate in 2008 and returned as an associate in 2010. Ms. Shukla’s practice focuses primarily in pharmaceutical patent litigation and copyrights.
Prior to Kenyon & Kenyon, Ms. Shukla worked as a cell culture scientist in the pharmaceutical industry. While attending law school, Ms. Shukla represented a detainee in an affirmative federal asylum hearing as part of the Seton Hall Center for Social Justice Immigrant Workers Rights clinical program. During her undergraduate studies Ms. Shukla researched flagella dynamics in Chlamydomonas reinhardtii using tubulin binding compounds.
Ms. Shukla received her B.S. in Biochemistry, and her B.A. in English with Honors from Lehigh University, and her J.D., cum laude, from Seton Hall School of Law with a concentration in Intellectual Property.
