Robin Plachy joined Kenyon & Kenyon as a summer associate in 2008 and returned to the New York office as an associate in January 2010. Her practice focuses on patent infringement proceedings before the International Trade Commission and patent litigation in the Federal District Courts.
Prior to joining Kenyon & Kenyon, Ms. Plachy received her J.D. from Boston University School of Law, where she was a member of Law Review. In 2006, she received her M.S. in Physics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where she worked with a low temperature physics research group and a polymer science research group. She received her undergraduate degrees, a B.S. in Physics and a B.S. in Mathematics, from the University of Utah. During her undergraduate studies she worked in a solid-state physics laboratory studying the properties of various semiconductor materials, and the properties of a ferrimagnetic material being considered for possible use in memory applications.
