Mira Martinez litigates patents in the federal courts and the International Trade Commission, and supports patent litigations in foreign jurisdictions. Her cases have involved diverse technologies, including telecommunications, navigation systems, analog-to-digital converters, semiconductor processes, financial software, computer peripheral hardware, automobile engines, and pharmaceuticals.
Ms. Martinez clerked for the Honorable David G. Trager, United States District Judge for the Eastern District of New York, from 2004–2008. During her clerkship, Judge Trager regularly sat by designation in the Second, Ninth, and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeals, affording her significant insight into effective advocacy at both the district and appellate court levels.
Before joining Kenyon & Kenyon in 2001, Ms. Martinez was an associate in the intellectual property section of a large general practice firm, where her practice concentrated on patent litigation.
